You can’t really have a website with the name celebrity women wallpapers, without having someone as popular and well-known as Britney Spears on here. So, she doesn’t really need much of an introductions due to her incredible fame which is effectively world-wide.

One thing I didn’t realise originally is that Britney’s middle name is Jane. I also didn’t realise she was only 28 years old having been born in 1981, but I’m hardly a Britney Spears fan. But I guess that makes me part of the minority, not the majority, considering how she has sold over 83 million (!!) records worldwide. Now that is an impressive figure.

Anyway, the reason you came here – Britney Spears wallpapers, and speaking of impressive figures, we’ve got quite a few.  Here’s the first batch of wallpapers, enjoy!

I often get questions from people asking whether wallpapers will actually work with Windows 7. Now, I know Windows 7 is still release candidate (just moved up from beta!) but in fact, all the wallpapers on this site will work perfectly with Windows 7 just as wall as any other version of Windows!

In fact, all these wallpapers will, of course, work with any operating system that supports JPEGs as background images, including Apple Mac OS X and many, many Linux distributions such as Ubuntu. So, if anyone ever asks you whether or not a wallpaper will work with their system 99% of the time, the answer is yes.

So, for ease of explanation, you can call all wallpapers on this site (and many others) Windows 7 wallpapers, Windows Vista wallpapers, Windows XP wallpapers, Mac wallpaper or even Ubuntu Linux wallpapers. Really, there’s not problem. Now check out and download some of the wallpapers!

Summer Glau, the actress in many films and one of my previously favourite TV shows, the Sarah Connor Chronicles, which is part of the Terminator storyline. Its a great shame the series got cancelled. Damn TV networks. Anyways, we’ve got quite a selection of Summer Glau wallpapers with some being directly from the Sarah Connor Chronicles and other being her appearances in other shows.

One of the things I’ve been trying to remember for a while now was the name of the Terminator character Summer played in the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Upon looking it up, I’ve been reminded the character name was Cameron. Cameron was sent back from the future (typical Terminator style) to protect John Connor, the leader of the future resistance against the machines, but hey, if you know anything about the Terminator series or films, you’ll already know all of this.

On to the wallpapers of course. Note that some of these are actually Summer Glau as the Terminator character Cameron, so there are a few cyborg/robot style wallpapers as well.

Well, here is the site’s first bunch of wallpapers, and I thought I’d go with a pop star almost everyone has heard of to start with, Avril Lavigne. Although, is her music still considered ‘pop’ music? Sometimes it seems to be going quite alternative or indie in style. Personally, my favourites were her first couple of albums, but hey the music choice is really up to personal preference.

Since I’m actually holding some kind of intelligent discussion here, I might as well bring up a bit of history about Avril Lavigne herself. She was born on the 27th of September 1984, making her 25 years old at time of writing… wow, that is close to my age. Anyway, her first album was ‘Let Go’ (2002) and at the time of writing is has sold over 16 million copies! Christ!

Although I’d love to ramble on about Avril Lavigne, her history and musical success, a history lesson is probably not why you came to a wallpaper site eh… So anyway, onwards to the Avril Lavigne wallpapers. A small selection, I’ll save a few for later on.
